The Big Tomato!
I’ve a one-pound tomato one I grown. It’s in the kitchen on the scale were I weighed the tomato. I wasn’t happy when dad said he’d slice it and eat it when I picked it. So I picked it after he went to work. Here’s one thing for sure I don’t eat tomatoes.
I planted the tomato from seed. At first it was just a flower. Then when the flower died I didn’t notice it until it was big. And for the last month it stayed green and the same size until recently and then I pick it.

A little song
There’s a spider in my shoe, in my shoe
It is fat and it’s big
And it’s dancing a jig
There’s hairy, scary spider in my shoe
Sing in the tune if your happy and you know it

MOM's WORST NIGHTMARE
Today Colin found a bunch of Horned Baboon spiders… EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!! Mom was in the kitchen, Colin had 6 baboon spiders in a bucket. I think mom was terrified more than I was. Colin still was in his school uniform. Why did mom send me to take pictures? Colin was chasing me around with a 5-inch baboon spider on his hand. We found out that those baboon spiders can’t climb metal, only one can so we put it with the biggest spider, that fought with the 2nd biggest was put in the little box. When dad got home he put the 2 biggest spiders on the kitchen floor, mom screamed again.

Hot or Sweet?
We picked some peppers from the garden. The peppers just came up, we did not plant them. Yesterday at dinner my dad told Colin that the peppers were sweet. Dad took a bite of the pepper to show him they were not hot. What was Colin thinking? Dad did not bite into the middle of the pepper. Colin took a big bite right in the middle of it and he, screamed and he screamed! Colin yelled, "Liar!" Dad bit into the middle of the pepper and ran to get the milk. If dad runs to get the milk I will not try it. That means it is one hot pepper.

A New Snake
On the 20 of February 2011 my dad came in the living room with a hatchling of a brown house snake in a jar. I thought it was the dead snake that was in the freezer, but it was alive snake. Right now it is in the tank with the six-inch long millipedes.
This morning Grayson put a baby frog in the tank. Around 11 o’clock 21 of Feb the snake disappeared from under the log and the frog is no longer in the millipede hole. I think the snake ate the frog, but my dad said it didn’t. So far we haven’t seen it since it left its hiding place.

TREE DRAGONS
We have at least three tree agamas in our yard. Tree agamas are big grumpy lizards. They have rough scales and beautiful blue heads during mating season. These lizards are hard to catch. When you get close they run around to the other side of the tree and climb up high. Once I caught one during Green Camp at Kumbali. After I caught it made violent thrusts with its head trying to bite me, but its neck was too short to reach my hands. If you catch one hold it firmly because tree agamas are very strong creatures.

Crazy Trees
Trees are red,
Trees are yellow,
Trees are growing on your bed.
Trees can jump,
Trees can walk,
Trees can skip,
Trees can even sometimes talk.
Trees have spirits,
Trees have eyes,
Trees have hair,
Trees have asked many whys.
Squirtle
When we first got him he would not budge, he just sat there hiding in shell. When we picked him up he still would not move unless we put him in the pond and then he would swim.
Now he is not shy at all. When we pick him up he does not hide in his shell. He likes swimming and he likes it when I rub his neck. Sometimes he sits in our laps and watches TV. I think he likes Nat Geo Wild the best. Squirtle thinks it is fun to squeeze my fingers between his arms and shell. He is very strong. For a tortoise he is pretty fast. He can run about as fast I walk.
Squirtle is a Bell's Hingeback Tortoise. The back part of his shell can move up and down to protect his tail and legs. He is a very cool pet.

Who Am I?
I live in Malawi, but I'm from Texas. My dad works for the State Department so we live overseas. I have lived in Germany and Indonesia also. I like living overseas because I get to see all different things like volcanos and castles.
Snakes
Snakes are slimy,
Snakes eat rats,
Snakes eat bats.
Some have venom,
Some have none,
Some are deadly,
Some are fun.
I have one
I have ten
One just got loose again.
